British Pilgrims entering the Cathedral at Chartres

Sponsorship

The Latin Mass Society is providing sponsorship (reduction of £100.00) for a limited number of pilgrims between the ages of 18 and 35.  Please contact the Latin Mass Society.  Details are also on their website. We are very grateful to the Latin Mass Society for their support which makes it possible for younger adults to join the Pilgrimage who might not otherwise be able to do so.

Donations to assist other Pilgrims and Priests are encouraged!  Cheques should be payable to the "Chartres 2010 Society"  and sent to:

Mr and Mrs Francis Carey
Chartres 2013
27 First Avenue
Amersham, Bucks.
HP7 9BL

We are very fortunate to have a dedicated corps of priests to serve the Pilgrims.  We wish to encourage new priests as they are truly amazed at what happens over these 3 days.  They go back to their parishes full of courage and zeal and ready to try the “experiment of Tradition.”  Please help us to make it easy for them!

  1. Hi, I am trying to find a sponsor for me and my sister to go on the 2011 Chartres Pilgrimage. I have already been, but she has not. We are American, so I don't know if we can even be sponsored to go with this group, but if we can, is there any information I could get?
    God Bless,

  2. As our main sponsorship monies come from the Latin Mass Society, we would have to give preference to pilgrims from England and Wales. We also appear to have allocated our initial sponsorship monies. However, we do get donations over and above this, so it wouldn't hurt dropping a line to chartres@duc-in-altum.co.uk with brief details in case anything comes up. You might also approach the American chapters for help. Or someone may contact us in response to this Post!
